A newer brand of hemp oil by Dr Adorable Inc, has become a staple oil in my house. This hemp oil is pressed from raw seeds and I like that it’s so natural. I like using this hemp oil in my shampoos and soaps. Hemp oil soaks deep into skin, unlike most oils I’ve used over the years. It’s such a versatile oil. Not only can I eat it and use it topically, but this hemp oil can be heated to 330 F before the nutritional properties of the oil begin to break down.

When I put this in my smoothies and salad dressings, I don’t notice a taste. It does taste nutty when I eat it alone, which is really nice, because I don’t always have time to toss hemp oil in a smoothie. I like how the hemp oil isn’t greasy when I add it to my shampoos, or use it alone as a moisturizer. There is a very subtle smell, but it’s not like I walk around reeking of pot, by any means.
