How to Roll a Joint

Smoking weed in joint form is quite possibly the most historically used method of consuming cannabis. In the last 10 years we have evolved to practice many more ways of smoking herb. It can be calming and peaceful to go back to the basics of weed smoking with a classic joint. Here’s how to roll a joint:

First you must grind your herb. The joints burn better and look better when crafted using ground weed but the same effect can be reached by slowly and uniformly breaking the weed into equal size pieces. Once the herb is in its final form, take one sheet of your Raw Rolling paper and fold it in half. If the paper has a sticky gum side, leave that side facing up. This will seal the joint when you are finished rolling. Once the paper is folded and ground weed is sprinkled in, pinch the ends and gently roll back and forth with the thumb and pointer finger until it becomes tighter and takes shape. When you are ready to complete the joint, lick the paper (on the sticky strip if you have one) and use the slight moisture to adhere the paper to itself. Your first several joints will most likely look like crap and smoke like it too but with regular practice you will be rolling joints like a pro in no time.
