How to Keep Weed Fresh

Dry weed is shitty, and damn can you burn through it quickly. It’s such a frustration trying to figure out how to keep weed fresh. Most of us don’t have the luxury of getting weed from dispensaries, but fear not my stoner friends, there is a solution! Air-tight containers are a great assist in keeping your buds juicy, loud, and sticky. Be careful not to buy just any “air-tight” container, though, a lot of containers aren’t designed with the greatest of integrity. Take a look at some of the containers I’ve used.

The Herb Preserve is my personal favorite. This container is air-tight and has a 1 ounce holding capacity. Its lab-tested, and approved, ultraviolet glass blocks out damaging light rays while allowing beneficial rays, such as UVAs and Infareds to enter. The seal on this bad boy is as air-tight as air-tight can get. It keeps its contents fresh for up to 6 months and locks in any smells you may not want seeping out. The Hydromate is another container that hasn’t failed me. These 9 ounce jars can hold up to 14 grams of whole buds and 28 grams when those buds are ground. The humidity control this thing has is amazing. It not only locks in your buds taste, quality, and smell, but it keeps your weed moist indefinitely! This container is made from Cobalt Blue Glass. This special glass refracts UV rays from tainting your weed. I was always able to rejuvenate my dry herb by sticking it in my Hydromate for a little bit.How to get rid of weed smell - Hydromate

If you’re looking for something a little more inconspicuous, take a look at the Space Case. This air-tight container is made from an Aerospace Grade Aluminum. This makes it light weight and durable. It’s even backed by a lifetime warranty. This is a nice cannabis keeper, and does an impeccable job at locking in scents. I’ve never been disappointed by the Space Case and would recommend it to anyone.

As someone who hates juggling lots of things, I love using the MedTainer. This container has a built-in grinder, making it unique and super convenient. MedTainer can hold about 4+ grams of cannabis, loosely packed, and it’s water-proof. Its grinder function works very well, and surprisingly traps any unwanted odors. You won’t be disappointed in this purchase.

The TightVac is simple and nifty. It has a push button vacuum seal system, which makes the lid impossible to pull off. Believe me, I’ve tried. I have put in some seriously smelly herb, and never once caught a whiff of anything. It’s functional, reliable, and durable. I love the wide mouth design, too. It really makes reaching in and grabbing out some weed much easier than dumping it out.tightvac
